What is a Honda S2000 Type-V, you may ask? It is the rarest S2000, with an estimated total of 350 produced in the mid-2000s for the 2001 model year, and a total of 2,500 were built. VGS stands for variable-gear-ratio steering system. The VGS system was a unique feature on this model: the steering ratio dynamically changed with vehicle speed and steering input, reducing the lock-to-lock steering turns to about 1.4 (versus ~2.4 for the standard model).
