Payments and Process

Driver Motorsports does not charge any processing fees, dealership fees, or any other hidden fees.  The final sales price of the vehicle is the "out-the-door price". Please be aware that, you will have to pay state sales tax and registration fees in whichever state the vehicle is registered. We will provide you with a valid Virginia Title and 30-day Temporary Tags so the vehicle can be driven immediately upon purchase. 

 

Deposits:

Our process is extremely simple, however, our vehicles tend to sell quickly and as a result, we often take deposits to hold vehicles.

Vehicles actively listed for sale on DriverMotorsports.com require a $1,500 minimum deposit to hold the vehicle.  For vehicles over $20,000, the deposit is 10% of the sales price. The deposit will be applied toward the purchase price of the vehicle and is valid for 7 calendar days. In the event that the sale falls through as a fault of the buyer, 50% of the deposit would be refunded. 

For “Incoming Inventory,” (vehicles not currently stateside) we require a $3,000 deposit or 10% of the purchase price, whichever is greater. If the vehicle arrives and you decide it's not for you, your deposit is 100% refundable. Your deposit will be applied toward the purchase price of the vehicle at the final sale. Once the car has arrived and has gone through our "Check-In" process we will provide you with pictures, and a full inspection report.
Prior to all purchases, we require that the buyer have the funds ready, or be pre-approved for financing. Payments can be made with a Credit Card, ACH, Bank Wire, or Cash.

Payments: 

For in-person payments, we recommend Cash or a Cashier’s check made out to “Driver Motorsports”. We can also accept Wire Transfers, but they must be cleared before pickup of the vehicle. Credit cards are also accepted, however, there will be an additional 3% processing fee.

For remote payments, wire transfer is the best method of payment. Credit cards are also accepted, however, there will be an additional 3% processing fee. We can also accept a Cashier's Check made out to “Driver Motorsports” and mailed to:
